Sunday Social Gathering - The Consul's Garden
Sunday 24th Novermber

It was a perfect autumn morning of clear blue sky, sunshine and warmth for what was one of the largest gatherings of classic cars, members and friends in the history of Classic Cars of Lanna.

We assembled at The Consul's Garden, in former days the residence of an early British Consul to Northern Thailand, and now a beautifuly maintained garden and riverside residence, operating as a Coffee Shop within Le Coq d'Or Restaurant complex.

The owner, K. Suphot and his team carefully guided the cars onto the lawn, and displayed them in groups according to their marque, presenting ideal photo opportunities for all oweners to capture their classics in this wonderfully photogenic setting.

Members sat in the shade of the covered verandah to enjoy tea, coffee and breakfast, served by the charming and efficient staff, many lingering well into the afternoon.

Thanks go to to K. Suphot and his team for their organisation and hosting, to member Neil R for discovering and suggesting the venue, and for members Ian and Rex for organising and publicising the event.
